The release of the new CD, The Fury, is imminent, and the CD release party is scheduled for Saturday, October 5, at HI-TONES, 621 E. Dewey. Admission is $5, and $10 gets you admission to the party and a copy of the CD! What a bargain! T-shirts and signed and numbered posters will also be on sale at the show. Come one, come all!
The Fury, the latest independent release by Mike Ryan, lead singer and songwriter from Coyote Dreams, catches some songs from the vault and some new works expressing the humor and biting social commentary one expects from Mike.
Texas legend, Augie Meyers (Texas Tornadoes, Sir Douglas Quintet), lends some organ/keys to a couple of tracks, including a reggae track.
Co-produced by multi-Grammy award winning producer and owner of BlueCat Studios, Joe Trevino, the album has South Texas, New Orleans and Celtic punk/folk flavors smeared all over it. Slow roasted and hand crafted by friends and family.
Preview and order your copy of The Fury here — or better yet, come to the party!
Mike Ryan Coyotes will preview one track each week from now until their new CD is released in September. Check the media player in the side bar to preview the tracks
